The Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, and naturally the Justice and Development Party (tur. Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi – AKP) as well, tend to fulfill their interests through the work of 60 offices of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency TİKA (tur. Türk İşbirliǧi ve Koordinasyon Ajansı), active in 54 states, thus ensuring its “soft power” and the construction of the Turkish model of humanitarian diplomacy.
